A peek in the future.

I may not be the most active student but neither am I a passive one, listening from what the speakers shared I now start to wonder what the future holds not just for me but also for my classmates.  One thing is sure though, in whatever path we choose to take we can only be successful if we love what we do.

I remember Mr. Jeffrey Gomez saying that it is never too late to practice our profession, before he decided to be a media practitioner he tried corporate jobs, I admire him because his passion brought him to where he is now. I also remember Sir Peter Alagos sharing with us that the statement, " It isn't always Manila, it isn't always money." Sure everyone needs money, each of us needs it to survive but as I think through it, if every reporter, every journalist considered money, and staying in Manila then we'll never know anything about everything.

Being updated right now and aware of our surroundings is because of the people who sacrificed fortune for their passion. I now wonder what the future has in store for me. But no matter what it is, Im pretty sure that passion not money will dictate me in that path. :) KUDOS to our speakers.
